Maruša Štibelj's exhibition brings together a selection of analog and digital collages from various bodies of work. Rather than presenting a single cohesive series, the exhibition features selected works from the cycles Melancholy Beneath the Surface, Chronically Late, Journey of the Moment, her newest and still evolving series Embrace of Grief, as well as other projects exploring recurring themes of melancholy, longing, vulnerability, and emotional introspection. Together, these works reflect the artist's ongoing creative practice, which is centered on the complexity of inner emotional landscapes.

Active both within the local community in Kranj and across the broader contemporary Slovenian art scene, Štibelj works in the fields of analog and digital collage, film, illustration, and multimedia. She has developed a distinctive visual language that is quiet yet deeply expressive, creating spaces in which personal experience invites reflection while remaining open to individual interpretation. Alongside her artistic practice, she is the founder and artistic director of the KAOS International Festival of Contemporary Collage, an annual platform that brings together artists from Slovenia and abroad. She is also a member of the Association of Slovenian Fine Arts Societies (ZDSLU) and the Kranj Fine Arts Society. Through both her artistic and curatorial work, she makes a significant contribution to contemporary visual culture.
