The opening evening on Thursday, 6 August at 19:00, will feature Martin Ramoveš in a program combining conversation, music, and art. Members of the press and invited guests will attend.
A special evening with Martin Ramoveš and Miha Erič on Saturday, 8 August, will explore the intersection of comics, music, and improvisation through their live interaction.
Martin Ramoveš works as a comics author and singer-songwriter. He has combined his original songs, music, and comics in a series of comic-book music albums: The Unfated Cowboys (2014), Astronomers (2017) and Rob – A Satirical Poet in Comics and Music (2019). In the latter, he presented the writings and life of the poet and satirist Ivan Rob.
In recent years, he has been creating a series of comics based on stories by Janez Ramoveš. Of the planned five-volume series, three albums have been published to date: The Smugglers (2021), America (2023) and The Wild Hunt (2025).
He has also published numerous short comics and illustrated several books. As a guitarist and singer, he performs with Miha Erič, Luka Gluvić, and Uršula Ramoveš.
